Em maio de 2020, quando a quarentena estava ainda em sua fase mais rigorosa, fui convidado pela Cláudia e pela Gladys, fundadoras da Feira Jardim Secreto (e do Galpão – atual Casa), para fazer um desenho do minhocão, representando esse momento de ruas vazias e silêncio incomum. Claro que isso refletia também uma vida muito mais intensa nas janelas, com as pessoas vivendo em isolamento e redescobrindo suas casas, reavaliando diversas questões e refletindo sobre o período como um todo. Hoje, 5 anos depois, ainda é estranho pensar neste momento. O desenho foi pensado para ser impresso em tecido, como uma bandeira.

During May of 2020, when the quarantine restrictions were still very applied, I was invited by Claudia and Gladys, founders of the Jardim Secreto Fair, to make an illustration of the Minhocão (São Paulo elevated expressway), representing somehow this weird moment we were living in. The streets were completely empty and silent while the windows and balconies above got crowded with the same people forbidden to go out. People were facing this moment sometimes struggling in isolation or simply paying attention to never before examined choices of life. The drawing was printed in fabric.
