Esta copaíba é uma belíssima árvore que fica no sítio dos meus avós e que sempre me encantou. O jeito como seus galhos se abrem e recebem a luz filtrada pelas folhas, as discretas florações que clareiam sua copa todo ano. É uma árvore antiga, cheia de marcas e parasitas, situada num pequeno promontório, com uma antiga garagem de tratores ao seu lado. Que eu me lembre, fiz 4 desenhos dela e tirei incontáveis fotos ao longo dos anos.

This beautiful copaíba tree stands on my grandparent’s farm and always enchanted me. The way its branches spread away from its trunk, receiving the light filtered by the leaves above is simply majestic. It stands on top of a small hill, sided by an old tractor shelter. So far I think I’ve drawn it 4 times, plus countless photographs along the years.
